when mobile is flat on ground compass is buggy.
when I hold my mobile vertical, it is OK.

other apps are OK

"gps status" app works also when phone is flat on ground.

yesterday I did a tour with Oruxmaps.at the and I call the direct to function to navigate home.

A new popup opens with the choice to open brouter.



Realy nice idea.

when i try to import an orux genarated fit file http://mytourbook.sourceforge.net/mytourbook/">//http://mytourbook.sourceforge.net/mytourbook/ i get an warning and an exception.



The warning is:

File serial number is missing, device id cannot not be set

this is only a warning, and Mytourbook will normaly import such a fit file anyhow



But there is also an exception.



i contacted the mytourbook developer, he told me the reason for that exception is the missing "Session datas"

in the next version he will implement a workaround.

Can you write a serial Number and some session datas in the fit file?

What do you think?

When I long press on the map to get the option menus, most times the map is moving some pixel. So the app detects a drag and drop. Means no option menus.

Maybe you can solve that...

Today I rooted my Samsung device (S4active) to enable the ant+ chip.

It was not easy, but it worked now.



In the past I could see my (bluetooth)heartrate on the dash board.



I have connected and started my ant+ hrm sensor. I see the values at TC1, nice. But not on the map anymore.



I did a crosscheck on my 2nd phone (a5), not rooted, but ant+ enabled directly out of the box. Same behaviour, no HRM on the map. Only in TC1. Here I have the playstore version of OM.



Idea?



Seems so that on ant+ devices no HRM can displayed on the map.



ANT+ is nice,  I can see the data of one sensor on 2 devices. And seems so that the connection is more stable.

Sometime I want to know the slope of the way up. I have the feeling, this user field is only refreshed 2 times per minute. Then it jumps eg from 10deg  to 20deg. Is there a filter which could cause this behaviour?



Would it be possible to use the bt4 or ant+ speed sensor for calculating instead the gps?



Maybe you can give some information how it works.



Latest beta 6.5.7 is working good with android5.

Hi Orux,

I own a speed and cadence sensor.

Exporting the cadence data is working already.

Is it possible to store also the data of the speed Sensor inside you're db and exporting it to the gpx files?



I googled a bit and found this:

Gpx 1.1 support speed inside the extension. It is more precise and smooth than gps speed.

yesterday I did biking some hours. cold, windy, wet. But Orux 6.2beta 3 worked very good 8-)

When I go biking with my mio link alpha, it works good.

But when I make a stop and leave my bike more than some meters my mobile lost the connection to my mio.

If I come back the connection is not automatically re-established, my phone displays the last value. So I often not recognized that.

There would be a Alarm useful, "beep when hrm is started and no signal since xxx seconds"

Edit: there is a data field " hrm battery status", it displays always 0

There is a app "hrm ble", this app shows the battery level correctly. So the mio sends this information. Idea, why this is not displayed in Orux?



Edit2: a data field displaying the battery status of my mobile would be great. With the mobile mounted on my bike I can't see the android status line with my old eyes...
