Is there any difference in using the app from the Amazon App Store vs Google Play Store?
It seems the app in Google is more updated, is that right?

Google Play has more options because it assumes that the device has Google Play services installed.

BTW, it's an amazing app!!

Apart from a higher refresh rate by the play store, there is also the option of the subscription for featured maps /mapbox 3D viewer.
Amazon's version doesn't have this part, as I recall.

A este respecto. Yo uso como gps un smartphone sin nada de google, o sea no tengo Google Play. Tengo la versión pagada en mi movil personal y la de la web en el que uso de gps, pero no se como instalar en este la versión pagada y si lo hiciera si funcionaría todo correctamente.

Well, I don't think it's possible, you have the alternative of installing the beta version on that phone.
