Last post by Tronpo - May 03, 2024, 11:49:45 PMHello, if you are using private memory (Android/data) first make a backup of your Oruxmaps GP files before uninstalling, because everything is erased when you uninstall
If you're using main memory, that's no problem
In the application'> storage settings > give the app permissions to use the files and then migrate to main memory. It can save you a lot of trouble.
Then you can uninstall.
On Android, you have a setting to install Google Backup when you re-install an app
If you have any questions, ask first before uninstalling.

The bug is there for any of the maps that came with the Mapbox subscription, incl. openmaptiles. Google and ICC does not work at all, just stays black.
Since my Orux maps installation is very old and I installed update after update, I consider to uninstall and re-install Orux maps - is there a way to do so without losing all settings and the track DB?

Last post by IvánYeste - May 02, 2024, 08:55:54 AMBuenas, la herramienta crear a mano no aparece en los menús en la versión 10.6.0. GP. Su símbolo si aparece en > Capas sobre mapa, pero con la acción > Mostrar todos los tracks.
En los iconos de la botonera, si permite añadir el icono Crear a mano.

Last post by gagnes - May 01, 2024, 07:32:21 PMCleaning cache do not resolve it. I have the same behavior on my 2 devices, and for both it happened with 10.5 upgrade. All other maps online/offline are ok.

1) when you first open it, it asks "what country you're in" & downloads the map file & elevation file
2) it prompts to download a GPX/KML & loads it
3) maybe the distance-to tool, and a gps on/off button
3) that's it, hide all other menus and options
try using maps.me as an example of what i mean

Last post by chilobo - April 30, 2024, 07:14:37 PMSince version 10.6.0 routes I created using openrouteservice.org exporting with "standard GPX" are not readable any more. This happens with old routes I already imported with an older version too.
