Hello,
at https://sicami.com/en/login i read:
"If you already have an Oruxmaps account you can use it to access without creating a new one".

Should an username/password, which i use since a long time in the OruxMaps App, work at sicami.com?
Because i get an "These credentials do not match our records."

Hello, yes it should work, but the behavior will depend on several things.
If you use the beta version of this forum or if you have already received the GP 10.0.0 version of Google Play.
If you already have an account at https://sicami.com, in this case both the email and the password used in Oruxmaps must match those used in Sicami.
Check if you have received any email at the email address you use to access indicating where the problem comes from.
In case the problem persists and you have one of those versions mentioned above, please privately tell me the email address you use to log in and I'll check where the problem comes from.

From me,
would be interesting being able to add waypoint to be used when following routes.
Would be nice having more maps , some for hike or mtb activities

Hello and thank you for your suggestion, luckily the two things you ask for could already be done from Sicami.com.

I attach a link to youtube of how to create a waypoint, also in case you are interested in that video it is also shown how to assign an image to that new waypoint.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ox6PQoPzlww

For your other request you can add all the maps you use in Oruxmaps using the content of the onlinemapsources.xml file, copy the content in the box I show you in the following images.

If you have any questions on these or other issues, please feel free to contact me.

I'm sorry I'm new abaur sicami
Thanks a lot for your information
Continuing with possible improvements,
Would it be possible, if not implemented yet, adding a way to mark the speed, or the elevation , or the slop, with a scale color?
Thanks

Hello, I attach a link to a video that shows how to colour a track according to slope, elevation, speed or any other data available for that route.

It is limited to three possible colours.

I don't know if this is similar to what you were asking, please let me know.

Hola, te adjunto un link a un video que muestra como colorear un track en función de pendiente, elevación, velocidad o cualquier otro dato disponible para esa ruta.

Hello,
I'm trying Sicami via tracks recorded with Oruxmaps.
I have a issue with the track type. In Sicami there are 2 fields called "type". One is correct the other is on "undefined".
Can you have a look to the attached file to understand what I'm triing to say?
Regards.

Hi, there is only one field for the type of activity in Sicami, the first one that appears to you as "Undefined". What you see below is the description of the route that oruxmaps automatically generates with a summary of the track data.

I'm attaching an image with the description I'm saying.

I'll explain now why you see "Undefined" as the type of activity.
Looking at the picture you send it seems that you have uploaded the track to Sicami exporting a gpx or kmz from Oruxmaps and then uploading it to Sicami manually, I think this because when the track is automatically uploaded from Oruxmaps to the left of the track name you should see the Oruxmaps logo.
When you upload a route in this way to Sicami the description of the activity is taken from the one you have predefined in your Sicami user profile, I attach a video explaining how to change this, also in the video is explained how to change the type of activity to a particular track.

https://sicami.com/en/article/ayuda-uso-sicami/sobre-tipos-de-actividades

Anyway, the easiest way is to upload the routes to Sicami directly from Oruxmaps by configuring them from the Oruxmaps application in the Integrations section. You can also upload them from Properties of each Track, Bottom menu and Upload to.

Hello Sica_2022,

I have read your previous answer.
It's clear that Sicami is unable to read and fill the good type of an manually imported gpx file.
But I'm not sure to understand if it can be done with automatically imported ones.
For your information I have several activity types (Mountain biking, Road biking...).

One big deal for me is that I don't know how to make Oruxmaps send files directly in Sicami if the track is manually imported in Oruxmaps (for example the activity is recorded by another way in first then imported in the smartphone).

Regards.

Hello, it is very simple, once you have the track in the track manager (database), with the type of activity to your liking,You just have to go to track properties, pop-up menu upload to:At this point, you You will see the integration options, including Sicami. Select and give the ok.Previously you must integrate Oruxmaps GP in Sicami..

I'd better show you on video 👇 enjoy Sicami!!

Massive upload? Not currently, but you can upload multiple tracks from Android to sicami.

Sorry, I don't know what I was thinking😔Fortunately sicami reminded me that there is currently an option for total synchronization Oruxmaps sicami, at the moment you can do it with Oruxmaps beta, soon you will be able to do it with Oruxmaps GP
Just go to Global Settings, Integration, Sicami
You can do a "forced" or scheduled sync.
In the track manager, on the sicami button you also have that option to synchronize. Everything.
I'll show you captures.

Hi, can you tell me what property you have lost, nothing should be lost when importing from gpx files.
If you could change even a little the values of elevation gained, lost, etc, because when importing from gx files Sicami does not know the method that Oruxmaps used for the calculation.

Please let us know if we can help you with anything.

Something of ownership?, an important thing, if your tracks have waypoint with photos, you can export to sicami in kmz, this way those waypoints with photo in sicami will also be!!

There are no others who offer us that.

You are right that information (type of activity) and for example also the difficulty of the route is not extracted by sicami from the gpx(s) exported manually from Oruxmaps.

We note it down to do it in the future, but because soon there will be the option to synchronize from Oruxmaps we can't give it too much priority.

Thank you very much for the information Capoccia.

I updated to oruxmaps 10.5 now I have sicami integration. So I deleted all track in my sicami accunt and then in orux I set full synk.
OruxMaps synchronised only last 7 tracks becouse the other tracks I had "S" symbol. Before start full synchronise I need to remove all track in to sicami website (easy) then remove "s" from orux track database. How I can do it?

Hello, I just tested integration Orux-Sicami and it worked perfectly, uploading over 50 .gpx all together!  Great! 8)

Would it be possible to download the 3D animated track as .mp4 or .mkv ?
I'd like to keep it in the same folder on the PC that also contains my photos and .gpx of the trip.....

Hi, at the end of the Orux registration the track is automatically uploaded to Sicami. Everything is fine, except when recording was interrupted (stop, several days,..) and then resumed.  In this case only the first part of the track is automatically uploaded to Sicami.
If I try to reload the (complete) track on Sicami from Orux it tells me that it is not possible as it is already present (but incomplete).

The only solution seems to be to export the track from Orux to a folder and then upload it to Sicami, i.e. do everything manually...

Case examined: user ut_2, incomplete track 2024-04-12 09:08:31, complete track uploaded by hand motta and sises 2024-04-12.

Hello Tronpo, I deleted incomplete track in Sicami and then I try to upload from Oruxmaps, but I receive the error message "track already present in Sicami server".

It seems that Oruxmaps marked the track as uploaded the first time without making further checks that the track is still present on Sicami...

Try this, do an altitude correction for that track, with the DEMs for example
And the resulting track tries to upload it to sicami, I just verified with extio.

Can you help please with a login error? I have been using Orux for many years now and is an awesome app. But struggling now with sicami integration. I have sicam account and managed to upload a track in 2023 from Orux. Now I can't get past the SICAMI migration screen, which gives me error "34:Invalid password" in Oruxmaps V10.6.0.GP. I have reset the account password on the sicami website and can login on the website. Any suggestions how i can enter the password in the app? when I try to Delete account in Orux I get "error connecting with the remote service"
Thang you
