Hello,
at https://sicami.com/en/login i read:
"If you already have an Oruxmaps account you can use it to access without creating a new one".

Should an username/password, which i use since a long time in the OruxMaps App, work at sicami.com?
Because i get an "These credentials do not match our records."

Hello, yes it should work, but the behavior will depend on several things.
If you use the beta version of this forum or if you have already received the GP 10.0.0 version of Google Play.
If you already have an account at https://sicami.com, in this case both the email and the password used in Oruxmaps must match those used in Sicami.
Check if you have received any email at the email address you use to access indicating where the problem comes from.
In case the problem persists and you have one of those versions mentioned above, please privately tell me the email address you use to log in and I'll check where the problem comes from.

From me,
would be interesting being able to add waypoint to be used when following routes.
Would be nice having more maps , some for hike or mtb activities

Hello and thank you for your suggestion, luckily the two things you ask for could already be done from Sicami.com.

I attach a link to youtube of how to create a waypoint, also in case you are interested in that video it is also shown how to assign an image to that new waypoint.

For your other request you can add all the maps you use in Oruxmaps using the content of the onlinemapsources.xml file, copy the content in the box I show you in the following images.

If you have any questions on these or other issues, please feel free to contact me.

I'm sorry I'm new abaur sicami
Thanks a lot for your information
Continuing with possible improvements,
Would it be possible, if not implemented yet, adding a way to mark the speed, or the elevation , or the slop, with a scale color?
Thanks

sica_2022

Hello, I attach a link to a video that shows how to colour a track according to slope, elevation, speed or any other data available for that route.

It is limited to three possible colours.

I don't know if this is similar to what you were asking, please let me know.

Hello,
I'm trying Sicami via tracks recorded with Oruxmaps.
I have a issue with the track type. In Sicami there are 2 fields called "type". One is correct the other is on "undefined".
Can you have a look to the attached file to understand what I'm triing to say?
Regards.

Hi, there is only one field for the type of activity in Sicami, the first one that appears to you as "Undefined". What you see below is the description of the route that oruxmaps automatically generates with a summary of the track data.

I'm attaching an image with the description I'm saying.

I'll explain now why you see "Undefined" as the type of activity.
Looking at the picture you send it seems that you have uploaded the track to Sicami exporting a gpx or kmz from Oruxmaps and then uploading it to Sicami manually, I think this because when the track is automatically uploaded from Oruxmaps to the left of the track name you should see the Oruxmaps logo.
When you upload a route in this way to Sicami the description of the activity is taken from the one you have predefined in your Sicami user profile, I attach a video explaining how to change this, also in the video is explained how to change the type of activity to a particular track.

https://sicami.com/en/article/ayuda-uso-sicami/sobre-tipos-de-actividades

Anyway, the easiest way is to upload the routes to Sicami directly from Oruxmaps by configuring them from the Oruxmaps application in the Integrations section. You can also upload them from Properties of each Track, Bottom menu and Upload to.

Hello Sica_2022,

I have read your previous answer.
It's clear that Sicami is unable to read and fill the good type of an manually imported gpx file.
But I'm not sure to understand if it can be done with automatically imported ones.
For your information I have several activity types (Mountain biking, Road biking...).

One big deal for me is that I don't know how to make Oruxmaps send files directly in Sicami if the track is manually imported in Oruxmaps (for example the activity is recorded by another way in first then imported in the smartphone).

Regards.

Hello, it is very simple, once you have the track in the track manager (database), with the type of activity to your liking,You just have to go to track properties, pop-up menu upload to:At this point, you You will see the integration options, including Sicami. Select and give the ok.Previously you must integrate Oruxmaps GP in Sicami..

I'd better show you on video 👇 enjoy Sicami!!
