After have setup 7.1.14，I found every time reboot the oruxmaps, I can't drag map with single finger but can drag and zoom it with two or more than two fingers. And after change the check status of the "bug with zoom" the map can be drag with single finger.

Use fused location provider (settings--sensors--GPS) in those conditions.



If you want to record an indoor activity, then you also have to select minimum distance = 0 mts. in settings--sensors--GPS--minimum distance.

thanks，I used to check fused location provider, but it seems agps and wifi location disabled under this checked. When fused location provider checked it can't locate or the locate cursor don't display anymore indoors.





I will try minimum distance = 0 mts.

You can disable track names in overlays in settings--maps--kml overlay settings-->overlay path text.

I find in version 7.2.14, when overlay kml file, it shows the name of the track. But it still shows track name in small scale, so it is confuse to look the track overlaid. And seldom occasionally when you enlarge or down size the scale of the map, the thrack name disappeared.





I hope to suggest that there is a choice to display or not-display the name of track overlaid, or it can automatically not-display in small scale.

When indoors, gps isn't available, the mobile's location mode is set as 'use gps, wlan and mobile networks', start on gps tracking or active track logging you can see the locate cursor display.



Then close orux window and background it, after a while, re-open the orux window, you can see the locate cursor, but it disappear quickly, and not display any more.



 The locate cursor appears again only if you stop gps track or track logging and restart it, or else enlarge or shrink the scale of the map it can display.

I have tried every version, even the 7.2.15beta6, and have tried the most settings of the mobile, but the honor v9 can't record without any interrupt until the day before yesterday the honor v9 updated it android system.



After honor v9 updated, now orux works fine.

The problem with Huawei, is that they don't allow the old system when the app is in background. Users should complain because it is not in the android contract.

the old versions works fine on my old Huawei 4X, but new version can't, so I think maybe some changes of orux cause the disable.

1，not only on android oreo, an Honor 4X with android 4.4.4 get straight line too (version 7.2.13).

3，Very often, when press button to start recording, orux turns into recording mode but it doesn't record. You can see the gps point moving on the map but it doesn't record. When suddenly it works, the orux draw a straight line.

it seems that agps (Assisted Global Positioning System) doesn't work for oruxmaps though the agps works well, so oruxmaps (oruxmaps 7.2.12 and its previous) can't locate in doors on honor v9 (android 8.0, emui 8.0), meanwhile oruxmaps (oruxmaps 7.2.12 and its previous) can locate on a honor 4x in doors. Also tencent map can locate in doors on honor v9.



oruxmaps can locate outdoors on honor v9, but it (v7.2.12) stopped to record even though the FUSED LOCATIONS PROVIDER have selected yesterday and i got a straight line.

I have used oruxmaps for about 5 years, it is a great app that do many help for my outdoor activities. Now i find when in doors，with AGPS and WLAN, the Honor 4x mobile (android 4.4.4) can locate quickly in oruxmaps(v.7.1.4 Donate, v.7.2.12), but the Honor V9 mobile (android 8.0.0, EMUI 8.0.0, DUK-AL20 8.0.0.341(C00)) can't locate in oruxmaps(v.7.2.12 and privious). Meantime the Honor V9 can locate in Tencent map immediately.



Also oruxmaps(v.7.2.11 and privious) stop to record even though the FUSED LOCATIONS PROVIDER have selected.



i have checked the followings:

--device is not in any power saving mode

--oruxmaps in in protected apps list

--oruxmaps can work after screen is locked (android settings--applications--oruxmaps--baterry

i have updated oruxmaps from version 7.2.8 to 7.2.10 just now.



but i found if i had turn on the gps sensor, every time i turn to the oruxmaps main interface, both i turn to oruxmaps main interface from the setting interface of oruxmaps or i shift from other app's interface, the warning tone sound.



every time i turn on the gps sensor in oruxmaps the warning tone sound too.



i have uncheck all of the checked boxes relate to sound warn.



the oruxmaps keep in silence in every pre-versions, and i do not change any setting after i update.

I have met my record interrupted and become a straight line for many times, to avoid this I have to turn on my phone screen and switch to oruxmaps panel from time to time, even I have allowed oruxmaps to run background and keep in powersaving setting.

After finished my hiking，I save the track into kml style and delete this track from database. After edit this kml file in google earth I import it back into oruxmaps, but I find the distance of the track doubled. Follow as track -- Properties -- Statistics -- Setting, there are two Segment1 where as it is one before. Click the SECTIONS in Setting interface, the data repeats once too.
