Quote from: Antonbel on May 05, 2024, 11:12:24 AMAl seguir un track me aparece mi posicion y encima un punto de mira.

Hello, artiba on the left do you have icons that induce active actions, do you have any icons that indicate some kind of screen lock?
Maybe the one with the hand?
This prevents the screen from moving with the GPS.

Saludos!!

Hello, if you are using private memory (Android/data) first make a backup of your Oruxmaps GP files before uninstalling, because everything is erased when you uninstall
If you're using main memory, that's no problem
In the application'> storage settings > give the app permissions to use the files and then migrate to main memory. It can save you a lot of trouble.
Then you can uninstall.
On Android, you have a setting to install Google Backup when you re-install an app
If you have any questions, ask first before uninstalling.
Best regards

I hope Orux introduces mass modification!!
Orux, are you going to do this? Please!!!!
While you can contact sicami, they may be able to rescue your tracks from the old account, back them up, and dump them to the new account

Hau an option but not entirely satisfactory
You can export the tracks and import the tracks again to upload, but they will have the current export date
Maybe it's better to wait for orux to include in the mass modification, the deletion of the server

Quote from: Aw425@hotmail.com on April 30, 2024, 01:13:48 AMThanks much.  When I unzipped the old track files I got only three folders none of which had tracks. But somehow I accessed all the .kml files. Importing 3 of them worked. But when I tried all 20, they show up in the tracklogs folder but the app doesn't see them under Manage tracks.routes. restarting Orux didn't make a difference.

What's the reason for that?
The app does see the 20 foot test track I previously tried.
Ann

Hello, once your tracks are in the tracklogs folder, you have to upload them to the track manager

This will transfer your tracks to the database.

BETAS / Re: New beta 10.6.x
April 28, 2024, 10:14:45 AM
Quote from: orux on April 12, 2024, 05:15:03 PMAs always, starting a new series of betas.

Version 10.6 is in progressive release, will be in GP soon available to everyone.

This beta has new features:

1. Climber. Analysis of segments by slope. In construction. This is a new screen on the trip computer views, which reports on slope segments data (configurable). These data for each route can be modified and saved for future use. In the trip computer view > Climber view, there is a button that takes us to the list of slope segments. In that screen we can see the different segments calculated. We can change the parameters (distance and slope used for the calculations, top action bar > more button). We can delete/join/split the segments.

1.1. New buttons over some graphs, to do zoom/reset to the current position, if following a route.

2. New slope graph, using the altitude graph, by colors.

3. Route planner. New option to trace sections with the finger.

4. Rearrange dashboard elements in the map viewer or trip computer views by dragging and dropping. For this purpose, a new dashboard editing tool has been added (map viewer > left panel > other tools).

5. Improved side button bars constructor, with more help to find the right buttons. The button and the description is displyed when we drag the bar to select a different button.

beta2:
--New setting in route plenner. Try to adjust the path made with the finger to an existing route in Brouter.
--bug corrections

Hello orux!!

As far as the "Climber" functions are concerned.

I think it's the beginning of a very interesting and long-awaited merger.

Currently it is limited to a visual analysis of the route as far as the "slopes" are concerned, I like the predefined criteria and the option that the user can "play to build" to their liking the "climber's screen".

I understand that it is a first contact and that we will see an evolution, for my taste I will present some points.
1-The settings of the climber segments are saved for later use en route (and are exportable gpx, kml, etc. (currently they are not saved at least to me)
2-The climber segments generate warnings, with the information of the segment when we are following the route, (maybe a waypoint with the information) proximity alert etc
3- For the duration of the segment, the altitude graph automatically zooms in.
4-Live segment information, you have added data about it for the dashboard (Already existing 👍)

Best regards

It only happens to you with mapbox? From the list of featured maps (subscription) Google maps give you the same problem? Icc, openmaptiles?

You're right, I thought it was a conditioning factor... Each Android is different, maybe you have to give permission to Oruxmaps Gp from the Android settings, so that it can manage  Do Not Disturb Mode

Do you have other apps with this mode active?

Sorry for the confusion.

April 25, 2024, 05:28:23 AM
Quote from: Aw425@hotmail.com on April 24, 2024, 11:36:22 PMI downloaded v7 about 5 years ago because I wanted access to maps and tracks in my SD card. New phone, v10.6, I'd like to import my old tracks. They are in zip files.
Any suggestions?

Hello,
1° Unzip the zip.
2° (new phone) Android 11 or higher.
This means that Oruxmaps is using private memory.
So the Oruxmaps GP folders are in :
Android / data / com.orux.oruxmapsDonate / files / oruxmaps.

Move your tracks :

A - You can use an external file manager and copy your tracks to the

Here you'll need to specify which asset you'll import so the app knows which folder to put it in.

You also have the option to  move Oruxmaps GP folders from private memory and have the same use as version 7 that you downloaded 10 years ago.
