Title: Openfietsmap Distorted

Hi all...sorry if this has been discussed. I did a search but found nothing.

I've installed orux maps, downloaded a map from openfietsmap and placed it in the appropriate directory. It seems to be working, but the map is distorted...

All online maps view are viewing correctly.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi!



What map is it? I tested the map of Iceland (//http://osm.pleiades.uni-wuppertal.de/openfietsmap/Iceland/OFM_Iceland(03-07-2013_gps).zip) and works fine.

It's the Australian one from here

I've used this map successfully on my garmin etrex20 and in garmin basecamp and mapsource.

But as you can see it seems the map is 'squashed' vertically in oruxmaps.

Should probably say oruxmaps is up to date and I'm running it on my Sony Xperia go with android 4.1.2.

ok... also looks bad with the default config.



You change this; [ Setting - Maps - Garmin maps setting - Mercator projection {unchek} ], now you go to the map and touch [ [Map icon] - Switch map - OFFLINE - {reload maps list} ].



You'll see good the map.
