Post by: papous on March 17, 2014, 10:42:26 AM
Hi, I have a hudge number of tiles in a map and I cannot transfer more than 21844 tiles in the SET directory even if there is a lot of space remaining on the sd card and if I can transfer tiles in an other directory. Any idea?

I am a beginner in orux and android

thanks

Hi,

it is a fat32 file system limitation (the file system of the sdcards).

You should use sqlite format, because this limit does not apply. With sqlite format, the limit is the limit of one single file (about 4Gb).

Hi, thanks for your reply but actually the sum of the tiles is more than 4 Go, do you think that sqlite form will be less?

Got another question, dont know if its the right place: I recently uninstall oruxmaps and google play denies me to make a new installation, any suggestion?

thanks a lot and my apologise for all these questions and for my bad english
