Hello,
on my new smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S5) it is not possible to change the folder for msps etc. onto a folder on the external sd card. Also it is not possible to create folders on the sd card with the app.
I think that is because google has changed an api with android 4.4. Since kitcat the app needs a special permission for writing onto external sd cards. That "feature" was not enough comunicated to the developers.
Can you fix this problem? That would be very helpful, becouse of the size of offline maps.

The beta version creates a folder on the external sd card. You can save your maps there.

I also have this problem with S5 and even after creating the folder in the SD card and placing a map there, I can't view the said map. I can't change the default directory.
One other question I have is whether Orux and support maps in 2 different directory, as I retain another map (including the world map) in the original insternal storage directory when creating the new one.

Hi, can anyone help me with this related question on saving maps to SD card? I can't switch/configure the map to be reference the SD card even though I had place a map there. Do I have to reinstall the app?
