Thanks to BlueStacks I run Oruxmaps on my PC.
There it is very interesting to see where my friend is just
biking while I am at home.
For that I have to start GPS, but there is no GPS connected
to the PC.
Obviously Oruxmaps chooses a certain position as location.
What in Oruxmaps determines the position?
Is there a way to change that?
Delighted to have Oruxmaps.

Hi, Uli, thanks;
OruxMaps asks the android device:
a) the last GPS position, or
b) the last network based position.
May be you see the network position that your android OS gives to the apps?
