Title: can't create maps !

Hi

i want to create maps to Mauritius island and i got an error message

"if your are using external sd use /android/data/com.orux.oruxmaps/files .. "



but my external sd is mounted on /storage/extSdCard and i have created a directory oruxmaps for my files , which is recognized by oruxmaps without problem



so what can i do ?



should i create a directory com.orux...... under /data on the external sd ?

I have try to create the directory under data on the external card but i got an error message i don't have rights !

looks like a limitation of android

I use Samsung galay note 2 under 4.4.2 ...

Orux could you give to us the choice of diectory to create maps .. the same as we have under externalsd

On my Samsung(android 4.4) I can select this path.

Here I can download maps or create maps.

I use the beta version, so the path is a bit different.

as i said you can't do that with android 4.4.2 kitkat !! il you choice that you wil not be able to write to directory



I have change in prefrences the directory to store my maps , hopfully the sdcard is not full so i ran this way for the vacation . and will be back to external SD where i store French maps

In my Samsung s4a with 4.4.2 kitkat I can do. I can also create maps there,

also I can download OAM maps directly from Orux...

i can't create directory , you can ..

where is the explanation ?



I was able to write to it when i was on my old phone . which was root. With Note2 Samsung as put a protection and i am not root on it.

i cand o it but i will loss the waranty

and i said also your directory on the external SD is com.orux.oruxmaps, my directory is oruxmap, i created it before ..



is the directory com.orux.oruxmaps created by the program ??
