Hello,
in Ourxmaps the POIs of the Mapsforge maps (offline) are not displayed.
The maps and the POI files are in the same folder and each have the same name.
Under POI search in map (offline) I don't see any displayed POI Data or Folder (no matter which map, Germany or another map).
In Oruxmaps under Mapsforge settings / default database is for POIs a location (Germany.poi) specified - here I can unfortunately delete nothing but change.
what can I do now?

When you load a mapsforge map, and you click (under Waypoints menu) the 'Search in map (offline)', what do you see?
You should see a display where you can select the categories, and entry keywords to search.

If the app lets you go to that display is because the poi file exists. But no categories are found. Strange.
Spain poi file works fine.
Please, try to download it again, or try with another poi file,

the maps and POI are stored on my external SD card.
If I work with the Version 7.4.22, then the POIs are displayed - but not with the 7.5.4 GP version
solved!
after updating to version 7.5.6 GP it works again
