Good morning. Using Orux in the mountains the altitude detection has a constant error of about +40m.This defect manifests itself on both Smamsung mobile and XIAOMI Redmi 9 Pro mobile. I use OruxMaps v.8.5.2.GP. I ask if someone can kindly give me some solution to the problem. Best regards Gianni
Have you checked the option "Use GEOID altitude" ?
I don't know exact option name (and place in menus) in v.8.5.2.GP, since I'm using "free" 7.4.23 version, but in my version it is
Global Settings/Sensors/GPS/Use Geoid Altitude
I guess it's at least "similar" in v.8.5.2.GP
