I use Oruxmaps for mountain biking, hiking and ski-alp in the Alps.
I like OpenAndroMaps and the Elevate theme (or winter sports fork https://www.senotto.de/Tipps_Tricks/GPS/OAM_Winter/OAM_Winter.html). I love it for its ability to configure the display based on the sport practiced

Wanting to try new maps and/or themes, I ask you what you use and why you like them...

Hi, lately I'm using for mapsforge oam the Tapiola theme

It's interesting, oara mtb shows routes that don't show "ELEVATE"
