sorry for my "basic-question" but I am not able to find the solution in the manual or here.
When I start to record a new track, than I can choose, if I want have (inter alia) the waypoint-alert "active".
Mostly I start in urban surroundings and I dont want to have every minute an alert. But then, after 2 hours of biking, I want to activate the waypoint-alert WITHOUT starting a new record.
Is this possible?

Yes,plausible .
Sidebar-> Navigation option->Wpt.Alarm
Only viable when wpt navigation is active.
When route is active, routealarm.
