Title: how to merge two or more .gpx files into one .gpx file
Post by: ut on June 01, 2024, 11:15:54 AM
Hi, a little help please: sometimes I need to merge two or more .gpx files into one .gpx file (for example to upload it to Strava and see it 3D).
To do this I use external web services (like https://gpx.studio/), but I would like to do it directly in Oruxmaps: how is it done?

If it's not possible it might be a useful new feature to implement....

Hi ut,
it is possible and it is quite simple:

- open "tracks/routes" or "manage tracks/routes" (depends on which interface you use: classic or unified)

- import your gpx files via the burger menu on the left bottom: import tracks to the list from external sources

- select two or more of your imported tracks

- again the burger menu: join them to form a single track

- when you need the joined track as a gpx file: select track - burger menu - export them to a file

thank you, very simple..now that it has been clearly explained to me! ;D
Oruxmaps does a lot, but it is not always intuitive to use and I thank very much people like you who give us useful answers in this Forum
