The "Bin" icon that is in the window that appears after selecting the first/last point of a path can be confusing. The label indicates "delete" when in reality it only removes the trace from the map viewer.
For example the icon that represents an eye (present in show/hide waypoint) when you select a POI could be used and would be more meaningful.
