Title: Unwanted icons

I'm using OruxMaps v7.1.6 Donate and sometimes I see on low zoom levels unwanted icons.

If I restart the app, I getmore or less icons.

The effect seems not deterministic.



What could be the reason for the behavior?

turn off aprs?

APRS is off.

Hi,

your screenshot, that one icon on top left, shows that APRS sensor is started.



I believe you started APRS once.

Then, while APRS was started, you went to (settings-->sensors-->APRS), and un-checked "Enable APRS".

So you are currently not able to "stop APRS", as you do not see it in the menue.

Go to (settings-->sensors-->APRS), activate "Enable APRS", THEN stop APRS. Afterwards you may uncheck "Enable APRS" again, to hide it from the menues.

I checked it once again: APRS wasn't activated in the settings. But the recommended procedure (activating APRS in the settings, stopping APRS, deactivating APRS) did the job. The unwanted icons are gone. Thanks for the explanation.
