Hi there,

I've created a mass of personal waypoints over the last years using orux maps.

Would like to do a backup of my personal way points and if possible edit waypoint list with help of a text editor at my PC.

Problem:

I can't find the my waypoint-file on my android device (Android 7.0, CAT S41 with Orux Donate 7.3.4):

Following the settings the wp-list path is

/storage/emulated/0/oruxmaps/customwpts/

But there is only ONE file "customwpts.txt", that does not contain any waypoint/ coordinates, that is dated 6.11.2017 and since then never changed.

Where are my tons of waypoints actually stored?

Hi,

Waypoints (and tracks as well) are actually stored in a (sqlite ?) database : oruxmaps/tracklogs/oruxmapstracks.db

And this database is automatically backed-up as oruxmapstracks.db.backup (in the same directory on the phone).

Automatic backup takes place every 7 days (number of days can be specified in global settings. 7 days is the default)
