Title: DEM map relief view/ map shading

Problem: My maps (mapscource)  are shown "flat" without any shading:



The .hgt-files for my area installed to the oruxmaps /DEM-directory.

Settings->maps>shading is activated.



But map shading doesn't work, the maps are still shown without any shading.



Any idea?

I guess you want to write : My maps (MapsForge)...

You're right, the questions was regarding the MapsForge maps.

Thank you for your answer, that helped me very much: actually the hillshading works with no problems when using the MapsForge-default theme.
