Title: Issue with direct map downloads from openandromaps.org with Android P

Hi,



With switching to a new device with Android P a direct download of maps from openandromaps.org via Oruxmaps is not possible any more. My other Android devices with Android 8 are still capable of downloading the map data.

I am using a OnePlus 6t with Android 9.

I have the same issue with my Essential PH-1 and Android P.



If I try to directly install from openandromaps, Oruxmaps starts and either I get the message that map download failed, or I see the download notification but there is no progress and nothing is downloaded.



It seems to me that the issue came with one of the latest Android P patches, though, because I regularly update my maps and I did not have any issues in August with Android P.



Oruxmaps is clearly outstanding and the most awesome app I have on my phone!

Hi,

same problem here, Xiaomi Mi A1 with Android 9.

The "Android Install on Oruxmaps" function of openandromaps.org not working, the download stays "pending".



EDIT: The "Quick install in Android" of Elevate4 from openandromaps.org is also failing.



EDIT 23.1.2019: with OruxMaps 7.4.13 on my Android 9 phone, the "Android Install on Oruxmaps" function of openandromaps.org is working again.
