Is it possible to add a button that sends an SMS containing a short message and the location coordinates and the Google link (as in the SOS function). This to either the telephones in the SOS list or a number to be specified (for example the emergency number 112)

When changing the distance it did not take directly in effect.
You must complete close Orux and start again.

It is very sad that the SOS function will disappear.

I run and walk a lot alone and then the SOS function is reassuring for the home front.

In which version will this function disappear?

Is there an alternative?

Hi Orux,

Is it possible to set in the "route planning" the start (default) settings to the last used or to user defined.

Thus: car/walk/bike   (fast/short)   GraphHopper/BRoute.

This because most of the users used one setting alone and must now changed it every time.

On my Nexus 6P with Android Nougat 7.0 there is an error while loading a .gpx file.

Normal use was: opening an .gpx file, orux startup and the route was there.

Now with Android Nougat: opening an .gpx file, orux startup  and that it is, no route loaded

Within orux a track in the database is normal loaded.

It would be verry nice if there is the possibility to manipulate (delete, rename, move) the *.GPX(KML) files in the tracklogs directory.

f.i. in menu "routes"/"load file" the same possibilities as the new screen in  "routes"/"manage" or "WPT"/"manage"

In most functions the generated waypoints are default added with a name (e.i. number as 0000399)

This is not the case by : "routing_menu"/"search_route". The waypoints have no name at all.

I believe the problems with the BRoute routine in "search_route" (no .GPX generated) are the case of lack of these names.

Is it possible to generate also default names to the waypoints in this "search_route"routine?

Hi, OruxMaps and BRouter is a splendid combination for hiking/trekking, but I have a question/remark.



-1- Is it possible to set the default for the "search route" to:

- Foot – shortest – BRoute(offline) -

Or, remain to the last settings.



-2- When I calculate a route with this settings the calculated route gives in the "statistics" a zero(0) length. Export and import the route the length is there.
