Multi tracking could be a lot better.



Need a function to look up a friend who is allowing multitracking and centre the map on them even if they are not visible in the current view.

At the moment you need to know roughly where a friend is in order to find them.

Should be able to go to a list of friends that are currently multi tracking and select centre map on them.



Also if tracking a friend, tracking stops whenever the screen goes off to save power. When the screen is resumed there is a gap in the track (straight line to current position from the position before the screen went off. Tracking should continue in background regardless of the screen.

Orux maps seems very promising but some features don't work.



I am using a polar H7 with Android 4.3 phone. I have configured the HRM in orux maps and turned on theHRM function in orux. I then started tracking using pebble bike.

At the end of the ride the track was shown on orux maps. I exported the data to both gpx and kml format.



The files contained no heartrate data.

The statistics for the track show no heartrate data.



I also ran an app called BLE Heart Rate Monitor. It recorded the track and the heartrate data perfectly.



When I removed the monitor belt orax maps alarmed that the bluetooth device was missing.



Am I doing something wrong?

Why can't orux maps simply record the heartrate data whenever it is tracking if the monitor is there instead of requiring it to be specifically turned on?



Also when I enable mapmytracks live tracking I get several partial tracks displayed on mapmytracks for the one track in oruxmaps.
