It's a problem which I have already reported in a post .... and I have not yet solved.

I must still restart the device, to display the track

 :?

Quote from: "mostro"I'm using Orux Maps v6.0.9 on a LG G3 (Android 5.0) with the options to auto-create kml and gpx enabled, but they doesn't seem to work.

When I stop a current track no new files appears into the oruxmaps/tracklogs folder, they appear only when I export them manually from the tracks list view.

I could not even understand the problem.  :?

Do not know if it's a problem of Android 4.2 that does not update the folder tracklog with track .gpx file you just created. PC is not visible, but the file manager of Android is seen

What can it be?

Problem solved.

You must remove the flag, in the settings maps, in zoom settings to "Autoload zoom"

MAPAS/MAPS / Re: Problem with WMS CTR piemonte
February 19, 2015, 04:44:39 PM
Ciao, sarei anche io interessato all'argomento. Anche alla luce della pubblicazione delle nuove carte e WMS in questi giorni della Regione Piemonte.

Unire tutti i vari CTR in unico file compatibile per Orux, sarebbe molto utile.

Quindi lo stato dell'arte al momento quale è?

This problem happens if you need to have more offline maps, which are spatial overlapped or neighbors. When working with the zoom function, Orux asks to switch from one map to another one.

It 'a problem that can be solved as?

Ciao :-)

Hi Orux,

I think it's a problem that has been known for so maybe if they have already discussed.  :?

If you have more offline maps including whether they'm seeing one, under which it has or is another neighbor, get a message asking me if I want to switch to another map.

I wonder if it is not possible to have a list of maps offline option that locks the maps that do not want, them to be visible and give the possibility to load a single map.

I verified that to make visible by connecting the smartphone to the PC via USB, the file you just created, you must restart Android!

Before this did not happen.

Anybody else have this problem?

Best regards

Quote from: "vancori"Indeed I would even report this anomaly.

The gpx file you just created are not visible when viewed in the archive tracklog connected via usb both Windows and Linux / Ubuntu

While the file if it is seen from the file manager on my Android (LG G2mini) is present.

Best regards

Thanks Orux for the your beta update. At the moment, however, is only recognized the url http://maps.google.com/maps?q=lat,lon">http://maps.google.com/maps?q=lat,lon

Instead it is a bug, from Whatsapp, Viber, ect .. where OruxMaps is recognized among the app available, it starts, but does not create the waypoint at the point of coordinates required.

Best regards  :)

Hi

You can try with last beta, this version can catch http://maps.google.com/maps?q=lat,lon">http://maps.google.com/maps?q=lat,lon urls and create a wpt from different sources.

Great Orux, always quick to resolve any problems!  ;)  Now it works and recognizes addresses like

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=lat,lon">http://maps.google.com/maps?q=lat,lon and the waypoint is created perfectly even in offline mode  :D

For Whatsapp, Viber etc .. you are near to the solution. It is recognized OruxMaps in the list of available programs, it starts, but does not create a waypoint...

I meant to say "On the fly" in GIS terms, for immediate conversion between different datums. In this case the googlemaps geocoding.

Yes, I can create a waypoint in different ways, but to create it in a different place from the center of the map, I can only use handwriting known coordinates.

For that would be useful to integrate the function to recognize, even in offline mode, a location sent as SMS, email, whatsapp and more, and to see it was as a waypoint on the map, as it does now Locusmap ...

But OruxMaps is the best! we look forward...  ;)

There is in my opinion some incongruity in the function of create a waypoint.

Because it is only possible to create a point at, different from those of this map below, only inputting handwriting geographic coordinates.

The other possibilities present in all waypoints created only at the point of this map below.

In conclusion it would be a very useful function that creates a waypoint "on the fly"

Best regards  ;)

Hi Orux

The function that I mentioned above, I verified that there is and it also works offline on LocusMap as able to recognize the google geocoding addresses,

such as:http://maps.google.com/maps?q=coordinate">http://maps.google.com/maps?q=coordinate geographical

example: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=38.7903219,15.2152198">//http://maps.google.com/maps?q=38.7903219,15.2152198

And maybe they are also interpreted coordinates sent in this format:

https://www.google.it/maps/">https://www.google.it/maps/@ coordinate geographical

example: https://www.google.it/maps/@40.1813103,9.5246132,12z">//https://www.google.it/maps/@40.1813103,9.5246132,12z

One feature missing that would most interest is the ability to import a value of position coordinates and geolocation maybe in immediate form by SMS, email, and programs such as Whatsapp, Viber ect, or even to be able to write, converting the data geodifica of googlemap and creating a waypoint. Is there a way to do it?

For example I have seen that programs like AndroidTS GPS Test, allow this possibility.

What is being done right now in Orux, but in output as a share of the data.

It could thus allow to see on our map, even offline position that was sent to us by someone.

Think of a use of this feature in mountain areas or problems of search and rescue of people or just to be among friends.

To be restricted to using only googlemap not good, but is more complete use cards based on OpenStreetMap data, often the most comprehensive geographic information

Thanks to all  ;)

GENERAL / Re: Duda sobre "compartir ubicación"
November 19, 2014, 03:29:04 PM
Hello guys,  :)

use very Oruxmas and just today I came across this problem is of great interest.

We have already mentioned the problem long ago:

http://www.oruxmaps.com/foro/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1876">http://www.oruxmaps.com/foro/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1876

If for some time you can create your location with geographical coordinates geocoded to googlemaps, to be shared should not be hard to accept incoming coordinates sent by other programs such as Whatapp, Viber, SMS, Mail Service etc ...

It can be very important for problems of search and rescue, civil protection, but also simply hiking or mountaineering.

I hope that soon we can integrate this feature!

;)
