However, the "bottom" does not seem to take the height of the dashboard (smaller or larger depending of follow route) into consideration. In my case, the dashbord hides the cursor, and I would like the cursor to be just above the dashboard.

ERRORES/BUGS / "Far from route" false positives
April 24, 2023, 10:23:04 AM
Hello,

I am getting false "Far from route" alarms. I am 100% sure I am on track, less than the set 40m threshold distance. This happens while cycling, and I has even made me switch off the alarm because my friends were getting fed up! However, I must say that it works when I really am >40m away from the route. Help?

I am using OruxMaps v.10.0.4 GP

Strange errors never seen before in my Orux. The attached image says everything. Besides these out of place arrows, I also had from time to time a huge amount of colored lines filling the map. The only difference from other trips was that I was using the Spain Andromaps instead of the Portugal map.

MEJORAS/NEW FEATURES / Sideboard altimetry pan control
September 10, 2020, 04:51:16 PM
The side board is very useful for quickly taking a glance to stats, namely height profile. I can zoom on it, but not pan. It is always centered in the... center.
Speaking of which, the bottom altimetry (dashboard) although pannable, is not very easy to vertical zoom.

MEJORAS/NEW FEATURES / Auto map direction based on zoom
September 10, 2020, 04:38:43 PM
When zooming out to territory view (<12), the map is more useful with North Up, instead of GPS direction Up. Much in the same way as shadows may be switched off automatically according to Zoom, there could be an option for this.

I too have this issue. I was going to create a new post, but I found this one. I have exactly the same symptoms as Tobias. I tried Mr. Orux's suggestion, but it did not work. The only way to have the Altitude shown in the Dashboard is to manually select a folder that contains DEM files (HGT or HDR).
If I am starting an activity, and I want to see current Altitude instead of just "---", I have to, (every time, unfortunately ) go to Settings, App Storage, DEM files directory, select a dummy folder, go to the map, go back to Settings, App Storage, DEM files directory, and choose the right folder, and then the Altitude shows up.
I am currently using OruxMaps v.8.0.7 GP.
