Thanks for the information. Is there any way to redirect the server request to the new server?

I have spend some time trying to set up multitracking. On only one out of four devices I was able to register a new multitracking account. On the other devices, I keep getting errors (unable to connect with server) when trying to register an account. I tried with both WiFi and mobile (GSM) data connection. Internet connection was good, GPS was activated. I tried with the google email account with which the devices are associated as well as with other email accounts. Nothing worked. What could be the problem?

P.S.:

Registration did work on a phone running OruxMaps v.6.5.10.

Registration did not work on phones running OruxMaps v.5.5.22 and OruxMaps v.6.0.10.

P.S.2:

After updating Oruxmaps to v.6.5.10 on one device, I do get a server connection. However, I am not able to register a new user for that device because I can only use the email address associated with the device. Multitracking with several devices associated with one google email address seems to be impossible - or is there another solution?

P.S.3

I updated another device to Oruxmaps v.6.5.10. As a workaround, I created new google email accounts which I associated with the phones. Multitracking between the three devices running v.6.5.10 seems to work now. The remaining problem is the older phone running Oruxmaps v.5.5.22. which I can not update to a newer version.

ERRORES/BUGS / time lag in tracklog GPX?
September 25, 2015, 02:40:08 PM
Hi,

is it possible that Oruxmaps does not write the correct (GPS-based) time stamp into the GPX track log files? I have compared the logs created by Oruxmaps (using an external i-blue 747 bluetooth GPS) with a GP-102 and a GT-11 GPS logger (which have identical time stamps) and have found that Oruxmaps has a time lag of 15 seconds (i.e. roughly 400 m 2D distance when driving in a car). System time on my android device is only one second off, so this can not be the problem either. I also noted that when walking around with the device, the track displayed seemed to keep "crawling" for a while after I stopped. Does anybody have an explanation or a solution?

ERRORES/BUGS / Re: External bluetooth GPS bug?

Thanks. Yes, I have then tried Bluetooth GPS and it works with the device and correctly transmits the positions to Oruxmaps. Still, it would be nice if Oruxmaps could communicate directly with the GPS without needing an additional app.

ERRORES/BUGS / External bluetooth GPS bug?
April 24, 2014, 09:58:26 AM
I have previously used OruxMaps on both a LG350 phone and an Acer Iconia tablet, always with en external GPS (iblue 747) connected by bluetooth. A few weeks ago I noticed that bluetooth connection now was very unreliable or impossible to establish. Because this happened with both devices (phone and tablet) I thought that the GPS was broken and got a new one (Royaltek). But the current version of Oruxmaps does not connect with the new GPS at all (unable to establish bluetooth connection). It's the same on the phone and the tablet. Is this a bug in Oruxmaps?
