You know we could have multiple routes at the same time but only one is for follow.

Once I need to follow another route I have to load it again if it is in the storage or search out it again from local database.

I wish there is a loaded route list and let's select one from it, thanks!

The TTS still has some words are not translated to Chinese：



Average Speed (平均速度）, Both zh-TW & zh-CN are not translated, it was fine in old versions.

Pace (配速), Both zh-TW & zh-CN are not translated

Duration Units (Hours 小时, Minutes 分钟, Seconds 秒) zh-CN is not translated but zh-TW is fine.



BTW, the better convert pace to the format "MM minutes SS seconds", usually the "15 minutes 30 seconds" is more intuitive than "15.5 minutes", Thanks!

Sorry for misheard about the pace format because the TTS is not very clear. It sounds "15:30 minutes" not "15.5 minutes".  The best TTS product in Chinese iFly speaks it unnaturally.

I believe that is very hard to have a common format for each language speaking well, so I suggest OruxMaps lets user customs the TTS strings by themselves. You just provide all the variables and a default template.

Can you please use the user customized message to send the check SOS SMS? Thanks!

I suggest that change the name of the new feature about Sending SMS SOS to Share Location by SMS.

SOS sounds terriable, users may not try it at all. But team member will be happy to try the interesting feature to share location , and I believe everyone knows to take advantage of the feature to request rescue in emergency situation.

In the RC4:



The units Hours, Minutes and Seconds are still in English when TTS reports the ETA time.

My location setting is zh-CN and all the other sentences include units KM/Hour already in Chinese when the TTS reports the distance and speed.

I think that a recent average speed is more accurate than a constant value to be used for ETA.

We could let user set a distance value (for example 1KM) then Oruxmaps calculates the average speed in the recent 1KM journey to estimate the arrival.

Chinese is also not translated.

The bug is still in the new version 5.5.20.



I was involved in a mountain rescue last week.

One of the rescue member found the people that trapped over 12 hours but he didn't have rope to hoist them then he reported his GPS coordinates via hand-held radio, unfortunatly that was DMS format which I couldn't input it to Oruxmaps, so we didn't close them quickly. Although everyone finally got safety but I have to say that the feature is very important to life, I will appreciate for your kindly fix.

BTW: How to upload screenshot here?

When I create a way point in Coordinates and try to input value in the Latitude box, the input method couldn't be activated.

However, the Longitude box works fine and when I move the focus from Longitude back to Latitude the input method maybe keep active, but the cursor is invisible and position couldn't be moved, although I could type value into the box but I couldn't delete the characters that followed the invisible cursor. So I think the coordinates way point feature is completely not working in the 5.5.19 Beta 12, Please check, thank!
