I'm looking for advice on using ORUX GPS tracking with either Garmin's Virb or Hero's Dashware video interface software. Does anyone here have experience with this topic?

Is it possible to simultaneously record video (eg. as a continuous waypoint) while recording a track? I've attempted this on my phone (HTC One Mini2) and it didn't work. I was able to record the video but ORUX/GPS tracking shut off.



My reason for asking - maybe obvious - is that I would like to create a video with GPS tracking overlay using Garmin's Virb or Hero's Dashware. Also interested in hearing whether anyone has experience using either of these with ORUX.

The email option for using ORUX tracks on Strava works fine. However a direct upload would be nice. There is surely a solution to the Strava api issue. Just saying - and regardless, there's no better app for GPS tracking than ORUX! Direct Strava upload would be icing on the cake.
