thanks again for the great software. I was using Orux maps now for a multi day bike trip with openandromaps and it is still amazing.



After using it so much I have some suggestions, wishes....



I used a track with 6 segments, one segment for each day.



When followig the route and displaying the altitude graph (in the trip computer), the current position is always displayed in the complete route. Is it possible to display only the current segment?



In the beta I found the option to show the altitude graph always on the screen (not only in landscape mode). This is a very good feature.

Would it be possible, to show/hide the altitude screen the same way the as the other values at the bottom can be shown/hidden by clicking on the values (if it is enabled in the config)?



Another cool thing would be if the altitude graph could be used to show a position on the map when setting a cursor inside of the altitude graph. To know where the peaks are on the map.



And then I finally have another suggestion.

Would it be possible to color the route depending on some values (like altitude) like in this program http://www.gpstrackeditor.com/screenshots">http://www.gpstrackeditor.com/screenshots



I printed a roadbook for my trip with the route colored by the altitude but it would be way better to have that feature in oruxmaps.

Your second suggestion is already implemented. After loading a route, open "radar" (in tools menu) and enable the trip computer TC-2. If you pick up a GPS-signal, you will find a green point indicating your position in the altitude graph.

Oh thanks for the hint. Didn't know about this.

I had also already thougth that it would be cool to see where the current position is on the elevation profile when following a track.



Perhaps in a first step it would be cool to see the current position in the route statistic altitude graph.

first I have to say thank you for your amazing program. In combination with openandromaps this is soooo awesome.



I have two feature request which would be quite useful.



1. One finger zoom like in google maps.

In google maps it is possible to zoom in and out with a doubleclick and then holding and moving the finger (on the second click) up or down. I am using this gesture all the time and it would be very cool in oruxmaps too. I know there are other ways to zoom (buttons, volume buttons, two finger zoom gesture) but this one is really good.



2. I am switching quite often between mapsforge styles. Would it be possible to get a button for the sidebars for switching the mapstyles? At the moment one has to go to use "menu button -> Tweaks -> Mapsforge Style"
