Hello,

The notification went again in the Gmail spam box. I don't understand why Gmail do not like your messages...

Anyway, you solved the problem. It was due to the activation of the lock screen.

Sorry for the long delay. I was not notified of your replies. Probably they went to the spam...

Nevertheless, since my last post, I have upgraded (probably twice), and I am now with version 8.5.2 GP, and I always have the same problem (not being able to select the 2 points to define the map).

But on the same phone I also have the version 7.0.2 and it works. See attached image.

Since you confirmed that I am probably the only one to get this problem, it is probably related with my phone configuration. I can live with it (and using 2 versions of Oruxmaps on this phone).

I am using OruxMaps v.8.5.0 GP, on a Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, Android 8.0.0.
When I try to click on the online map in order to select the 2 points that define the map area, nothing happens. I tap on the screen and no marker appears on the map.
I have an older version OruxMaps v.7.0.2 on the same phone and I do not have this problem.
Any idea to solve the problem ?

I upgraded to version 7.4.12 Donate and the two problems are still there:

- impossible to automatically export tracks as files when the recording is finished

- impossible to delete tracks



I have downgraded to version 7.0.2 (non Donate one) and the problems disappear...

I am using Xperia Z3 Compact with stock Android 6.0.1

I have updated to Oruxmaps v.7.4.2 Donate and I still get the same problem: tracks not exported after finished...



By the way, I have found that in the "Manage Tracks/Routes" menu, I am unable to delete tracks.

When I click on the bin, I get

- Are you sure you want to delete? => Accept

- Delete the waypoints that belong to this track too? => I have tried both Cancel or Accept

And the track is not deleted...

Sorry for the long delay for my response. I was waiting a notification but Gmail decided to throw the notification in the spam...



I just have tried with all the other formats enabled, and still no track file generated inside the tracklogs directory

GENERAL / "Export Track after finished" not working ?

Hello,



I am a long time user of Oruxmaps.



I have recently changed my smartphone, and installed Oruxmaps v.7.3.7 Donate.

In the Tracks/Routes settings, I have selected in "Export Track after finished" : (GPX)

The "Routes, tracks directory" is the default oruxmaps/tracklogs inside the phone memory.

But no new GPX file is created when I finish my tracks. I must export them manually.



On my old smartphone I was using v.7.0.2 and the export track to GPX file was working.

Both smartphones (old and new) are identical: Sony Xperia Z3 compact with Android 6.0.1



Where does the problem come from?

Change from 7.0.2 to 7.3.7 ?

Change from standard to Donate version ?

Misconfiguration ?

Other ?
