Since some time (update?) I can select more then 1 WP and "add them to active route".
WP are there, but I couldn't "open them for more info's"? I've added some comments to the WP which I would like to see. But "pressing WP" shows "segment 1" from the route.
Looks like a bug,?

If I load more then 1 waypoint from an folder, then all the loaded waypoints are "connected with a direct line (track)" between them. If I load one by one, it's fine and I get only the waypoint. If I select more then one in the waypoint-menu and add them "within the hamburger-menu" with "load selected waypoint in active route", I get only direct lines between the waypoints AND the waypoint are not visible with their names.

So how can I add a list of selected waypoint in the same manner, as clicking on the "waypoint-flag" right of the name?

ERRORES/BUGS / Track including waypoints
October 03, 2023, 07:32:07 PM
Hello,
I have a problem with waypoints. Created a track by hand and afterwards waypoints into the track.
After reloading, the waypoints are missing. Opened waypoints and tried to add 9 to the track. But only 1 is there.
My question: is there something special with adding or loading waypoints?
Looks for me like a bug!
Is there a standard format to share a track and/with waypoints to other apps?
Am I able to separate track from waypoints?

Thanks and regards,
Norbert

Looks good and "long". But I didn't understand Spanish.
Will you tell me, that I have to "go through Google Maps"?

I didn't find a way to import waypoint?
There is no import-menu?

I have GPS-coordinates N° xxx E° xxx (from hotels) and would like to import to Orux.
Would be great - and may be it's a feature request - to import from CSV-file.

Any suggestions?

OK, thanks a lot.

That works, but it's not very handy!

Orux should add a menu-point for saving directly, should he!?

I've planned a route with BRouter in the forefront of a trip and would like to save it, but didn't find any menu-point to do so!?

How to save?

Do I have overseen the menu?

If you have a lot of way points, which I'm  using for routing, the actual "long detailed list" is not very handy. I would prefer a "flat list" where all the additional buttons are in a "Hamburger menu" - 3 dots.

Will this be possible?

Or configurable as Hamburger or detailed list!?

BETAS / Orux Beta via Playstore
July 01, 2016, 11:40:00 AM
Playstore now has the ability to support betas. Would be easier to install (and update) betas from there!

MAPAS/MAPS / Brouter and Routeplanning in Orux
June 17, 2016, 11:21:35 AM
While routing you can switch between GraphHopper and BRouter, where GraphHopper is the default.

@Orux:

1. will it be possible, to configure in Orux, which is the favorite/default routing-app?

I prefere BRouter, so I need to switch to BRouter (from shown GraphHopper) and afterwards to Bicyle. Tried GraphHopper for Bicycle, but it moved me on a highway!?

2. could you allow all available profiles from BRouter?

at the moment, there are only some and I'm missing for example fastbike-lowtraffic. (Have edited in BRouter's serviceconfig.dat "bicycle_short tp fastbike-lowtraffic", which was set before as bicycle-fast to fastbike.

So it would be great, to have a mapping-table in Orux!

The available profiles could be found here> http://brouter.de/brouter/profiles2/">http://brouter.de/brouter/profiles2/

But you can build your own, which should also be mapped to Orux.

Any idea?

MAPAS/MAPS / Re: BRouter - working with Orux
June 17, 2016, 11:08:55 AM
Found the answer with help of a post:

Go to sdcard/brouter/segments4 and edit there the file storageconfig.txt

and change 2 lines:

secondary_segment_dir=/storage/9C33-6BBD/Android/data/btools.routingapp/segments4

additional_maptool_dir=/storage/9C33-6BBD/Android/data/orux.OruxMapsDonate

Every time, you download new segments, they are downloaded to the "old place" sdcard/brouter/segments4 and you need to move them to the SD-card.

MAPAS/MAPS / BRouter - working with Orux
June 16, 2016, 04:37:19 PM
>> Android 6 <<

I've installed today, but wasn't able to get the data to my SD-Card. As I understand, BR is sharing waypoints with Orux, so how does BR find the new path on the SD-Card under

/storage/9C33-6BBD/Android/data/ ...

Is there any development-partnership?

How could/should I set-up?

Is there a chance to navigate with "location find", because it's not so handy to scroll to the map?

MAPAS/MAPS / OpenAndroMaps - direct install to Orux
June 16, 2016, 04:24:32 PM
@Orux: I've blogged with Christian (developer of OpenAndroMaps) about the "direct download/install" of maps to Orux and he forwarded me to you.

If you start a download, OAM is asking "where the maps should be stored", starts OruxMaps and NOW the download is working in the background. Here comes my question/request:

while downloading you can see the success, but no more info and a text - in german "Antippen, um alle Aufgaben a..." (Tick to stop) But, it doesn't mean "more details", it cancels the download.

Could you change the message, but BETTER give more info about the download while pressing on it?

I have an app running, which "shows a message about it's waiting for connection", but gives the chance to cancel with an extra word, like:

App is waiting for connection

           Cancel

Hope you understand!?

Thanks and regards, Norbert
