OruxMaps would need the navigation data for that, as it doesn't know if there's just a bend in a route or a turn. So this is just information Brouter provided since a long time, but wasn't displayed in OruxMaps. This is a great thing to have, but when you don't want it it can be distracting.



It would be possible to add an option in OruxMaps like "don't use Brouter turn instructions". And it would be nice if there would be the possibility to delete the waypoints like others when you click on them.

Hi,



I have a strange problem in the latest version 7.4.22

Suddenly the gray control bar of Android does not disappear anymore and I cannot see the top dashboard of oruxmap- even if in settings I set it as always visible.



I tried to clean caches etc but no luck. I have not updated Android since years, version 6.0.1. See attachment

Beta expired, no new beta.



Orux, please remove the expiration time of the beta. At least it would be fair for people like us who test the app. (otherwise it would be just more convenient to stick with the official version, but then no beta tester would be available.)

My  beta expired and I do not see any possibility to dw another beta. What's the plan?  

Hi, I have the latest beta3 and I am not able to remove the two boxes with '---' at the top of the screen due to HM monitor. Note that I do not have currently any HM set in the preferences! See screenshots:

There is a problem with the expiration date...

I confirm this.



It would be very useful to have the possibility to disable the expiration date in the preference. This is actually a drawback to be a beta tester, I have always the fear that when I am traveling the app stop working and I do not have internet access.

Bug affecting the latest beta 7.2.15beta16



Practically the bug appears when more segments are generated per track. The track is actually well stored in the db, only the visualisation is very buggy.



For example, I load a track as a route:

Now, I visualise the SAME track as normal track for recording:

The visualisation as 'Route' is the correct one.

There is a bug affecting this beta: the length,altitude,time etc of the tracks in the tracks list reflects the last segment statistics instead of the complete track!

Length is 25.64km as in the tracks list.



What do you think? Also the cumulative statistics are wrong (selecting more tracks and computing statidtics) because they do not account all the Segments but only the last one!

Thanks Orux. I will Test the new beta. Please consider to have a setting for not expiring the beta!

This is handy because it could be that you do  not deliver any new betas for a long time, or I am in travel in some remote with no internet and the beta expires! Please!!

Las betas quedan obsoletas cuando se lanza la versión final (gratis o donar) con un código superior, porque incorporan las funcionalidades de las betas.



No obstante enseguida suelo abrir la siguiente serie de betas, con nuevas funcionalidades, por lo tanto con código de versión superior.



Recientemente añadí el aviso, para evitar que la gente se quede atascada de por vida en versiones de prueba muy antiguas que ya están superadas por versiones finales y/o betas nuevas.

ORUX: Can you put a new setting in the settings that disables this warning? Is the beta really stop working after a while or is only a warning?

Hi Orux! I found a bug in the last beta 7.0.11 b2. In the track list, I have corrected the altitude of one track. I did not select 'Delete old', so in the end I had 2 tracks. I was not happy about the new one, so I have deleted it. After this operation both of the tracks disappeared! I could in the end recover the track because it was still displayed on the map, so I went to statistic and I saved the Zip file: inside there was the doc.klm file! In the v 6.5.3 this never happened.
