Hi, I changed of device and reinstalled OruxMaps recently. I used to upload my tracks to OpenStreetMap for further editing. I entered my OSM login and password in the Integration section but cannot find OpenStreetMap in the very short list of services to export.

You can add on page http://www.oruxmaps.com/">http://www.oruxmaps.com/ and on Google Play that the app currently allows to upload to OpenStreetMap.org

Are all your maps in its own directory? (you don't have selected a generic directory, like the sdcard root, in Settings--Maps--maps directory).

Maps directory: /mnt/ext_card/orxumpas/mapfiles/

DEM files directory: /mnt/ext_card/oruxmaps/dem/



I just deleted the online cache. Switched to OneFootball. Then switched back to OruxMaps. Loading........ 30 sec.

I also find that the application starts slowly since version 6, about 30-45 sec.

Moreover, when I switch to another application, for example a simple SMS, then switch back to OruxMaps, the program starts loading again. Hopefully, the GPX tracking is not impacted.

I always use OruxMaps when hiking and recording my GPX track.

I take "notes" as waypoints to describe the countryside: "meadow right", "farmland left", guidepost "Beautiful village name ele 375m", etc.



To add this waypoint, I need to click/tap several times before actually editing

- one tap for the waypoint menu

- one tap to create

- one tap to edit the WayPoint name

- one tap to accept

By the way, I do not use the drop down list Type, I use Waypoint as default.



Would it be possible to have a custom edit button where I could directly type my text description.
