already a few weeks ago that the barometric altimeter is not calibrated automatically with the dem files. even in manual mode it does not work and writes error in the calibration of the barometer. now I use samsung s8 with 7.2.13beta3.

I tried but in the oruxmaps/tracklogs folder, I can not find the gpx file.

I've also created a new oruxmaps/tracklogs/gpx folder and selected it from global settings -> Tracks -> Tracks directory, but nothing the gpx file is missing.

however with this app x-plore I can create the gpx file and with the new version 7.2.1 I can upload the file on garmin.

yes I select where the app saves the tracks if I had chosen the automatic creation of the gpx file. But if I want to create the gpx file of a track already created, I choose properties of the track, then the symbol share, then gpx, then the app offers me a list of app: bluetooth, gmail, save in drive, whatsapp, android beam ...... but not exorer file! Where am I doing wrong?

after several tests, I found an app (x-plore) similar to file explorer that appears in the list and I can save the gpx file, but  I can not upload it on garmin.

I try to send you this file to the address oruxuro@gmail.com, it's right?

Hi Orux.

I have Samsung s8 and I used v7.2.0.

I do not understand why when I want to save the track in gpx format the system does not propose me file explorer to select the folder. I had to download another app called x-plore and with this I can select the folder where to create the gpx file.

I believe that the file is good because if I open it with oruxmaps or with mapsource I display it. however when I upload it to garmin servers it gives me an error.

The same file opened with mapsource and saved by mapsource instead is loaded but without heart rate and temperature data.

Orux please  help me

The new "Apply altitude filter" is really great.

If switched off, the ascent and descent are nearly the same on the Monterra with oruxmaps, the VDO MC2.0 WL and the Suunto T6d.

Creating custom filters is not easy.



The latest beta further softens the filter used.



I will add an option to disable last filter (used when the track is finished).

Hello Orux,

I write again about the problem of elevation gain.

I made other tests and I realized that during the recording of the track, the elevation gain is correct and corresponds to other GPS tools. The problem is when you stop the track and the app stores the track. If you look at track statistics, you find a much lower value. I send you two screenshotts, one just before the stop of track and one of the stats on the same track.

For pleasure Orux let me know if you can fix it.

excuse me ... I don't know if this is the place to this request. I use oruxmap on MTB and I have a Samsung s7. I have found that the value elevation is always correct but the difference in height total positive is always less than 10% of all the other. Can  you  adjust the calculation algorithmic?

In my opinion, making many drops off, the algorithm filters too much like a barometer disturbance. You could also create an option for mtb. Orux what do you think?

you can delete a track from the server.



select that track in your tracks list.

if the track is on the server, you should see a button to delete it from the server.

Yes I see the butto but it Don't work. The track remain on the server, I think because was uploaded not fine.
