It could be possible to collect locations where boats stop for several hours. Then have an online database with those locations to help other boats find places where it is possible to spend the night.

Never mind. It seems like the device is actually broken. Some other apps managed to get position using wifi hiding the fact that GPS did not work at all.

I have a chromebook tablet with os version 83.0.4103.97

Oruxmap installs fine and most things seem to work. However when I try to start the GPS it initially makes a request for me to approve GPS usage. When I check the access rights for orux it has access to GPS.

Still. When I try to start it I get the message that the GPS needs to be activated.

Usage is free for personal and none profit use. You can even get an offline version on request but the license for that seems gray in orux case.

After updating to the latest version I can no longer add video or picture extensions to a waypoint.

The problem was ES explorer was the default application to find files with. I changed this and the problem was solved.
