I recorded recently several tracks in the alps. The Total Elevation gain shown in the statistics was never okay.
For example in one track the Minimum altitude (the starting point of the hiking tour) was 1312m , the Maximum altitude was 2063m, but the shown Elevation gain was 579m, although in reality it was more than 700 m.
Similar problems occurred with all tracks.
Is there a known problem and how can this statistics be corrected?
I use a Samsung Galaxy S9+.
