I think the problem might lie in Huawei side. However, maybe it is possible for OruxMaps to do something to bring itself back on soon after it's killed.

I recently upgraded to 6.5.10 from 6.0.10. When I was trying to apply "load as a map overlay" to tracks logged with the old version in database, nothing displayed on the map. But it works fine for the tracks logged with the new version.

I have been using OruxMaps for years. First of all, thanks for your great work!



It was running well until I change to Huawei phone, G7 Plus (or G8) with Android 5.1/6.0.1. Almost every time during my hiking, OruxMaps background process for track logging was killed for some unknown reasons.



In system settings, I have set OruxMaps to "ignore battery optimization" and "background protected", but the problem persists.
