I don't understand the cryptic zoom level descriptions such as "72@8". What do they mean?



I would find it much more informative if instead it would show the zoom level as " 1:25.000" for example.



Maybe that can be changed in a future version of oruxmaps?

I use a google-free smartohone, i.e. without google play services installed. Unfortunately, the address search does not work on my phone. I always get the error message "error geocoding" and after that "no address found".



Anything I can do about it? What system functions does the address search rely upon?
