On recent versions of Android, the transfer of our personnal "onlinemaps.xml" and "wms_services.xml" in the good directory can be very tricky.

It is often a big problem for new users that lead them to give up oruxmaps.

On AlpineQuest and Locus, the configuration files of map layers can be very easily installed by just "open with" the app => the file is copied to the good directory without the hassle of manualy finding it or be blocked by the security functions of Android.

It could be also an item in the app menu like "load map settings file"

Since the last version V 10.7.3 GP there is a new stage in the process for offline map creation : just after selecting the area to download, it is asked "Select the map to use as tile source" with a "brute" list of all the map sources which is a bit confusing.
In the previous version the process was far easier and natural since the selection of the tile source was made before the area selection.

Would it be possible to add, for example on the first line of the map sources, an item like "actual source" or something to specify that we have already selected the good source. That will spare a confusing search in the long list of map sources.

Does anybody knows how to load in Oruxmaps online topographic maps from the swisstopo geoportal ?

If so what are the parameters to enter in onlinemapsources.xml ?
