Tested again over the last few days, but I can't get it to work on my phone. I tried with fused location provider on/off and with the Huawei check box on/off. Energy saving settings are disabled.

Tested 7.2.13c, too, but it does not work for me ... strange. I used FUSED_LOCATIONS_PROVIDER and tried with/without the new setting, but no luck for me. I'll test again tomorrow, just to be sure.

I tested 7.2.13 today, but it does not work!

Too bad it doesn't work in one version. At least we know now.

7.2.12c does not work for me, I'll go back to 7.2.12b.

I'll test 7.2.12c tomorrow and post results here.

hey, that's great. I confirm that in version 7.2.12b, tracking works again when the screen is turned off, both for my friend (Huawei P9 lite) and for me (Huawei P10 lite).



Maybe it would be a possibility to add a special checkbox for Huawei users in order to make it work. I don't know what the other important feature that you talked about is, but I didn't miss it yet.

I need to add that we it only works with "FUSED LOCATIONS PROVIDER" in 7.2.10 (but not in 7.2.12).

Sadly, I have to confirm the problem for Huawei P10 lite with Android 7.0/EMUI 5.1.1.

A friend of mine owns the Huawei P9 lite with Android 7.0, but with EMUI 5.0.1



Problem:

Recording of track stops when the screen turns off in current version 7.2.12. All battery saving features have been disabled.



But: v.7.2.10 works for both of us. As a consquence, we are using the old version again.



What an annoying problem! We really appreciate your work, Orux.
