I found several shortcomings concerning POIs compared to your competitor Locus Maps.
1. POI functionality is poorly documented in the manual (or I didn't find the place)
2. POI philosophy seems to be different from Locus Maps. In Locus I can get info about each special point I see in the map coming from OSM. In Oruxmaps it looks like I can get POI-specific info only for a small subset of these (the ones which reside in the POI file?)
3. You can't search for POIs
