Did that solve the problem for your phone? Long time experience...?

I have made a 4 hours mountain trip (way to the lodge) and a 4.5 hours trip (way back) this weekend.

On my first trip, I had activated the overall "Engery Saving Option" on my Android.

After approx. half hour it  did stop recording.

Therefore,  I de-activated the overall "Engery Saving Option" on my Android.

Since then and on my way back, it did record permanently.

So I am not 100 % shure, if just the follwoing setting solves the problem:

I use offline Open Street Map for Garmin

from

http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/">http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/

With OruxMaps v. 7.0.5.

The Street names appear horizontally , written in UPPER CASE and highlighted in yellow. :

Therefore, in a city with a lot of streets and/or a town with curved roads it is impossible to recognize which street name belongs to which street.

How can I set it like this (example from online open street map)?

Android 8.1 ... I took LocationServices out of battery optimization.

Since then the track recording in Orux is running very well again.

Can you please tell me the step-by-step procedure for this?

(Im am using the german version of Android 8.1.0)
