Hi everyone, here's my status:
- Huawei P30 Lite
- OruxMaps 7.0.2
- Android 10
- SETTINGS: OM is allowed to run in the background (under settings / battery management / manual management)
Issue while recording track: from the moment the display is switched off until it is on again, a "straight line" is recorded (no intermediate points).
I have not found a proper solution yet (apart from leaving the display constantly on and lowering the luminosity to limit power drain, which is just ridiculous, I know).
However I have found out that if I start recording a track with Wikiloc and then start recording in OM, OruxMaps is flawless (no straight lines).
If I pause recording in Wikiloc, OM continues regularly.
If I stop recording in Wikiloc and kill the app running in the background, OM records straight lines again.
I suppose that the same might happen if I don't use Wikiloc but another app... Have not checked that yet.
This is not a solution, I know, but until I/we find one I hope this helps other P30 owners.
Have a good day! ciao
Enrico
