I don't know if this was requested before  - I use paid Orux as main navigation in offroad competitions where only offline (Google Hybrid) maps are available and fast position update and accuracy make a difference.

Tracks are usually large loops (over 100km) and downloading the offline map to cover the loop results in gigabytes of tiles.

Is it possible to have a option that for a specific track/route to download ONLY the tiles that cover that track at all zoom levels, also the adjacent tiles (one tile extra in left and right side of the track)

Dear Oruxmaps forum

I have the following question:

Creating a new route Oruxmaps gives automatic a name. e.g. Route_2021-06-04 114034_20210604_1140.gpx
Creating a new track Oruxmaps gives automatic a name. e.g. 2021-06-04 114714_20210604_1147.gpx

Is it possible to configurate the name giving?
I know that I can rename the file afterwards but it would be nice to have directly a "useful" name.

Hello Sir,
I am regular user of Oruxmaps and I feel that a tool related to enhancement of 3D viewing must be added.
(1) there should be a rotating controller button
(While running on PC via emulator like, bluestacks it is very difficult to rotate map.). Since most of the PC dont have touch screen and gesture controller touch pad.
(2) A toggle radio button for environmental condition (which data is to be correlated with weather report) can be added to simulate the situation of that place while visualising 3D.
I hope these two demands will be considered.... thanks in advance.

Hola no estoy de acuerdo, en el grupo de telegram, se habla de cosas más especificas y avanzas más en el nivel de manejo de Oruxmaps. Esto no quiere decir que se abandone el foro para aclarar ciertas dudas

Currently, I have fully transparent top notification bar (where clock and notification icons are) which makes if unreadable (see screenshot attached).

I can't find an option for configuring notification bar to be semi-transparent like bottom navigation bar or at least make it opaque (although I would prefer semi-transparency, just like in navigation bar).

Any help is appreciated.

La solución es que la hagas visible. Dale a la opción que desaparezca  a los 10 o 15 segundos y que solo con presionar la parte superior de la pantalla aparezca.

<t>Hola, llevo usando orux mucho tiempo y me ha guiado por infinidad de sitios que no conocía, nunca me he perdido, es una maravilla.

Con los años, se pierde vista y últimamente, necesito que los waypoints de kms, sean más grandes incluyendo los números.

Cuando un track se cruza varias veces, es muy útil ver el siguiente km por el que hay que pasar para no perderse.

¿Es posible ese aumento de tamaño?

Este es el modo computadora de viaje

I'm an enthusiastic user of OruxMaps. In fact it was the first app I installed on my smartpone.
I used to have the older version, where heart rate data could be extracted from the  oruxmapstracks.db
In this way, I extracted it during the running and could pipe it to a tasker functionality.
In the new oruxmaps version (the paid one)  I cannot find any more where heart rate data are temporarily stored. Only when you export  the track you have them available.  But I would have them during the run

Computadora de viaje. Entras siempre teniendo activado ubicación del móvil y puedes modificar parámetros pulsando sobre ellos

One small remark concerns the routing interface: Would it be possible to have flexible names for the servicepoints that interact f.e. with routing software like brouter?

They seem to have fix names now: car fast/short , bike fast/short and walking fast/short.

It would be nice if they could be renamed to reflect the varoius (thirdparty) brouter profils to distinguish f.e between MTB, MTB-hard, Gravelbike, Streetbike etc. and if their number could possibly be increased. Thanks!
