Both are the same app. The donate version includes the option to upload tracks to oruxmaps servers, and use graphhopper to calculate routes, nothing else.

I will start navigating with tracks or WP. And we are recording a log.

After a certain period of time (undefined time), logging will not be done. OruxMaps has not ended.

I use it offline (radio wave OFF).

Furthermore, the APN setting of the smartphone disappears and the Internet becomes impossible.

An app can not change APN settings. The donate and free versions are identical when recording a track.

Android v 4.22.

I found out to reset during log operation in the background.

The log icon is displayed even after rebooting. Therefore, I did not notice that I reset it. The log is stopped.

It will also occur in Donae ver 7.4.12.

It also occurs in Free ver 7.3.7.

My impression

GPS minimum time setting

0 s: Reset in 1 to 2 hours.

2s: Normal operation time is long. But occasionally reset.

Since the APN setting disappears after resetting, communication becomes impossible.

After reset once, it keeps working normally.



Supplement:

   I also installed Free v 7.3.7 on nexus 7 (android v6.01) and smart phone (android v4.12).

   These are without SIM.

   These have never been reset.

I removed the SIM of the smartphone (android v 4.22).

With Android v4.22 smartphone without SIM, OruxMaps v.7.4.13 (latest version) continued working normally for 11 hours.

Is the cause of this problem a smartphone? Or OruxMaps?
