Mileage complete on the dashboard

In routing mode there is an option to show the % completed.  This is great, but is it also possible to have an option to show the distance from the start of the route.  This might not be the actual distance covered but would show where on the route you are.  I'd find this really useful as I use the app when I work supporting cycling events to know where on the route I am.
