Doesn't load GPX from gmail!

With gmail, when I open a gpx attached in an email oruxmaps it opens but does not load the GPX to follow, if you save the attachment to your phone and then you open it works.

Could you solve it?

Are you sure this is an Oruxmap error? Do other types of attachments open correctly in other apps?

I tested with 3 different smartphone in gmail app. With pdf it works fine.

In your phone Is it working?

Yes you're right. It doesn't work. But you can download it to your phone and then open it from there....

but I want to send track to my parents, then active multitrack for check my position. My father insn't "tech-man".... open GPX from gmail is the esiest solution...

I see. As a workaround you could upload the track to Dropbox and send a link to your father. He can then click the link and choose to open it in Oruxmaps.

Where did you make the gpx points?



I've found if I try to open any gpx file from any source other than oruxmaps then it fails.
