Sony SW3 and Oruxmaps

Hi,

I've been an oruxmaps user for years and love it.  I've been considering buying a Sony Smartwatch 3 since it has an internal gps.  Is it possible yet to install and use oruxmaps with Android Wear and use the Sony sw3 internal gps data for complete offline use?

No; it is not possible.



The app still needs the phone internal gps.



May be in next versions.

I bought the Sony SW3 a month ago and wanted to see if you'd made any headway on adding OruxMaps functionality to Android Wear v. 5.1.1 and possibly using the internal GPS in the SW3?  I'm excited for this feature because I am a pilot and think it would be awesome to be able to have aviation chartbundle maps you provide with overlay gps tracking on my watch.  I'd be glad to be a beta tester for this and even donate a few beers towards your time.  I'm sure many other pilots here would do the same.  It would be much better than paying $700 for a Garmin watch that doesn't even show charts:
