First: I LOVE THE APP. I can't image how my activities like Hiking, Riding, Sailing would look like without OruxMaps. Thank you for creating such a magnificent and universal app.

Second: There is a scar on my relation to Orux. When I am trying to automatic device search option under the "sensors" menu, i get the "Error reading ANT+, Are you sure your device support ANT? ADAPTER_NOT_DETECTED"

I've got Xiaomi MI9, but I've rooted it and installed PixelExpierience <- that's about the hardware. Since other apps ( like Wahoo ) can see the data from my ANT+ sensors, it's clearly something wrong in OruxMaps side ( or maybe my custom phone setup ).
I've added ANT number to my speedmeter ( number is 51840 ) and when I am trying to manually connect to that sensor ( Via sensors, ANT+ menu item ) I got that "the ANT+ is used or unsupported" Toast.

In addition to that, I need to say that my old phone, with the same very settings and OruxMap version somehow gets the data from this very sensor. How can we debug it?

Can you help me to get the data from my ANT+ device into Orux?

Hello!
Are you sure your device supports ANT+?
What says: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quantrity.anttester
It's amazing, but ANT has abandoned Android, it hasn't updated its Android sdk for 5 years. It even includes bugs that they haven't fixed. The same is OruxMaps problem ...

Yes. The reason i am saying this is that in other application, wahoo, the same very sensor is working.

I did check the antchecker: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zl9phsaqsemiwba/Screenshot_20200811-202517963.jpg?dl=0

The is an exclamation mark saying "no service", I don't know how to interpret this.

Also, this is my setting from orux:

And here the setting from wahoo:

This: https://magenefitness.com/pages/dual-mode-speed-and-cadence-sensor-bike-speed-sensor is the sensor I have. It supper Bluetooth and ANT. I don't know exactly how this sensor works with Wahoo, but maybe the same way orux can connect?

Hello!
it is a dual sensor. Are you sure that it is connecting using ANT+ and not Bluetooth with wahoo?
did you try to connect it to OruxMaps as a bluetooth sensor?

try with this app, to see if you connect under ANT+

funny, I just found out that my oneplus supports ANT + ... I didn't know.

you have to install several ANT libraries for it to work for you.

If you turn the phone to landscape, you may see all the ANT information.
